Dr. Ananth Vaidyanathan’s story is truly of what dreams are made of, and how one goes on achieving them, with lot of hard work, perseverance and support of almighty in terms of a bit of luck.

Born on 23rd May 1974 in a middle class family, he did his schooling from Don Bosco, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the New College Madras, before pursuing his career in Hotel Management from IHM Bengaluru.

He had a very humble beginning in the hospitality industry as a bell boy at the Central Court Hotel, Hyderabad. The fire in his belly made him quickly learn and excel in his work, and within no time, he moved up the ladder to steward, Captain, F&B executive and finally F&B Manager at Central Court Hotel and Hotel Pearl Residency in Hyderabad.

His further pursuit for knowledge and excellence, took him to Goa, the most sought after tourist spot in India. He worked as Manager Operations at the Icon International Hotel, and having gained experience, he was ready for his next leap, which brought him to City of Dreams, in Mumbai.

With very limited resources, he started his career afresh as a Senior Captain at Juhu Gymkhana Club which is a top notch club in Mumbai Suburb. His dedication and skills did not remain un-noticed and within less than 3 years, he was promoted as a General Manager. His constant hunger in pursuit for further excellence, made him shift jobs as General Manager of Time and Again Restaurant and Banquets located at Andheri West, and thereafter as Vice President of Vie Lounge & Deck, at Juhu, the most posh restaurant and Night Club, a favorite of top Celebrities from various walks of life HR Professionals, Events Manager and Corporate Houses.

In 2007, he quit his job, and started his own Company “Touch of Class” as his catering Company, supplying food to Corporates like Stream, Total, Times of India, Kanakia Corporate house and many more. After successfully establishing himself in this field in a few years, he put his years of experience and knowledge of various facets of hospitality industry, through Consulting & Liasoning work, by offering his services in the form of procuring & renewal of Licenses from various Govt agencies for starting a new Hotel & Restaurant enterprise services in terms of Menu Planning, Man Power, Designing, Location hunting, Food Festivals and other events etc.

Today he boasts of Clients like Sammy Sosa, the Mexican restaurant which ranks number 1 consistently for the past 8 years, other top notch brand namely Goa Portuguesa, Fat Cat Cafe, Pritam Da Dhaba, Punjab Grill, Sanjeev Kapoor Yellow Chilli, Taj Santacruz, Niranta Transit Hotels, Aaswad, GVK, T2 Airport, Lite Bite Foods, Lite Bite Travel Foods Pvt Ltd ,Tata Consultancy Services, Living Liquidz and have around 410 Hotels and Restaurants spread all around India.

Spanning across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Indore, Chennai, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Kannur, New Delhi and Shanghai. He had won many accolades like Best Hospitality Professionals Award, Best Caterer of the year Award etc.

He is happily married to Carren, and has 2 Children Son Aaren & daughter Kathy, and it is from his family that he derives his source of happiness and strength, which eggs on his ambitions to conquer new frontiers.

The year 2013-15, saw him turn into an Enterpreuner and Hotelier, when Juhu Gymkhanna, where he started his career as Captain, invited him to take over their 120 cover Restaurant and run it, which he christened it as Aaren’s Food Company and successfully ran it for 2 years. Next on the list was one of the Fine Dine Restaurant & Banquet Hall named Levo Restaurant & Lounge located in the hearts of Versova for the period 2015-17.

The philanthropic streak in him sees him do lots of Charity work on a regular basis, with contributing to social causes such as feeding the Senior citizen, anaj daan, underprivileged children and education for the girl child, orphanages, adivasi children and so on.

Despite all that he has achieved in a short span of time, the fire in his belly continues to burn towards his desire to achieve more in the hospitality Industry and give something back to the society.

Dr. Ananth Vaidyanathan feels that with the blessings of family, friends, business associates, he will have another story to tell before the year 2022.

Work is Worship. Atithi Devo Bhavo is the mantra.
